What they ask
The MPHW paper is 200 marks in 3 hours. The technical section is worth 100 marks and tests what you studied in the health worker or sanitary inspector course. The rest is general awareness (35), Gujarati grammar (20), English (20) and maths with reasoning and data interpretation (25).
How to prepare
- Revise your MPHW or sanitary inspector course notes chapter by chapter. The technical section decides half the marks.
- Learn the Gujarat and central health and welfare schemes, which fall under the general awareness syllabus.
- Practise Gujarati grammar and English together; they add up to 40 marks.
- Attempt timed 200-mark mock papers to get used to three hours of MCQs with negative marking.
