Gujarat government exams

Gujarat fills most state government jobs through a handful of bodies. GPSC runs the Class 1 and Class 2 civil services exam, GSSSB handles Class 3 posts such as the Combined Competitive Exam and Forest Guard, the Gujarat Police Recruitment Board hires the PSI and Lokrakshak cadres, and GPSSB recruits panchayat staff like Talati, Gram Sevak and health workers. Teacher tests (TET and TAT) are held by the State Examination Board, and most board advertisements take applications on the OJAS portal (ojas.gujarat.gov.in), while GPSC uses its own gpsc-ojas portal.
