About Delhi High Court Court Attendant
DSSSB holds the written test for attendant posts in the Delhi High Court, and the High Court interviews the shortlisted candidates and allots the posts. Advertisement No. 03/2025, dated 14 August 2025, covers 334 vacancies across five posts, 295 of them Court Attendant, all in Group C on Pay Level 3. One application covers all five posts.
Eligibility
Age limit
General category: 18–27 years, counted on 1 January 2025.
Age relaxation
- SC: 5 years
- ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- PwBD candidates get 13 years if they are also OBC and 15 years if also SC or ST.
- Ex-servicemen: period of military service plus 3 years, up to a maximum age of 55.
- No upper age limit for people already serving on the Delhi High Court establishment.
- The High Court's rules give no age relaxation to other government servants, meritorious sportspersons or widows.
Qualification
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised board, or an ITI pass certificate from a recognised institute.
Other conditions
- Citizens of India and subjects of Nepal can apply.
- Preference goes to candidates with experience or knowledge of cooking, carpentry, electrical work or driving with a valid licence.

Tier II

What they ask
Tier I has 100 one-mark questions in 150 minutes, 25 each on Hindi, English, general knowledge and arithmetic. That is a generous amount of time, so accuracy matters more than speed, especially with 0.25 cut for each wrong answer. You need 50 marks to qualify, or 45 if you are from a reserved category, and up to five candidates per vacancy in each category are called for the interview. The final list adds the Tier I score to the 15-mark interview.
How to prepare
- Aim well above 50. Clearing the cut-off only gets you to the interview; your Tier I marks also count in the final merit.
- Mention any cooking, carpentry, electrical or driving skills truthfully. The advertisement says such experience gets preference.
- Work on Hindi and English grammar as much as GK. Each language is a quarter of the paper.

- Register once on dsssbonline.nic.in; one registration serves every DSSSB exam.
- Log in, pick the post code and fill in the online form before the closing date.
- Pay the fee through SBI e-pay if your category is not exempt.
- Print the submitted form and keep checking dsssb.delhi.gov.in for the exam date and notices.
