West Bengal government exams
Most West Bengal state jobs come through four recruiters. WBPSC runs the WBCS and its other commission exams, WBPRB hires for West Bengal Police, Kolkata Police and the correctional services, WBSSC selects school teachers and non-teaching staff, and WBBPE conducts the primary TET and primary teacher recruitment. WBPSC and WBPRB posts ask you to read, write and speak Bengali, with exceptions for Nepali speakers or hill-area residents that differ by recruiter. School jobs instead tie you to the language of the school's medium of instruction, so read the language clause in each notification.
