DSSSB's latest Patwari vacancy is for the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB). Advertisement No. 02/2026, dated 25 February 2026, lists 15 posts under post code 14/26 on Pay Level 3. New Patwaris get training from the department, and probation ends only after they complete it.

What they ask
The Patwari paper has 200 one-mark questions in two hours. Section A covers the five general areas with 20 questions each. Section B is where this post differs: DSSSB's subject syllabus gives 80% weight to land and urban laws, such as the Delhi Land Revenue Act, the Delhi Land Reforms Act, the DUSIB Act and the 2013 land acquisition law, and 20% to computer knowledge. A wrong answer costs 0.25 marks.
How to prepare
- Read the bare acts named in the syllabus. The Delhi Land Revenue Act, 1954 and the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 sit at the centre, with the DUSIB Act, 2010.
- Cover the older laws too. The Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 are both on the list.
- Revise MS Office, networking and shortcut keys for the computer part, which is a fifth of Section B.
- Use daily topic-wise practice quizzes on the free Improvam app for Section A reasoning and arithmetic.

- Register once on dsssbonline.nic.in; one registration serves every DSSSB exam.
- Log in, pick the post code and fill in the online form before the closing date.
- Pay the fee through SBI e-pay if your category is not exempt.
