Assam government exams

A handful of recruiters fill most Assam state jobs. APSC runs the Combined Competitive Examination and other commission posts, SLPRB handles Assam Police, Fire and Emergency Services, prison and forest protection recruitment, and the State Level Recruitment Commissions conduct the Assam Direct Recruitment Exam (ADRE) for Grade III and Grade IV posts across departments. The Gauhati High Court recruits judicial officers and district court staff, and the Department of School Education holds the Assam TET for elementary teachers. Most of these recruitments ask for an employment exchange registration in Assam, residence in the state and the ability to speak Assamese or another state language, so read those clauses in each advertisement.
