What they ask

The Rajasva Lekhpal Main paper divides 100 marks into four equal 25-mark sections in 2 hours. What sets it apart from other UPSSSC exams is the 25-mark Gram Samaj Evam Vikas section, which tests central and UP government rural welfare schemes, Panchayati Raj, land reform laws and revenue records, and the Mathematics section, which includes a heavy dose of Statistics (mean, median, mode, frequency distribution, histograms) alongside Algebra and Geometry.

How to prepare

  • Focus on Gram Samaj Evam Vikas (25 marks): prepare a complete list of central and Uttar Pradesh rural schemes (launch year, nodal ministry, beneficiaries and budget highlights) and revenue land terms.
  • In Mathematics (25 marks), study Statistics (mean, median, mode, cumulative frequency), quadratic equations and mensuration of triangles, trapeziums and circles—not just arithmetic.
  • Aim for 22+ out of 25 in General Hindi, as its syllabus is limited to grammar, vocabulary and one unseen passage.
  • Keep a strong UPSSSC PET score ready, because only candidates clearing the post-specific PET cut-off can write the Lekhpal Main exam.
  • Practise Hindi, Maths, GK and UP schemes daily with topic-wise quizzes on the free Improvam app.
