About DNH DD Primary Teacher (PST)
The SSB recruits Primary School Teachers for Classes I to V in the UT's English medium schools. Advertisement No. 04, dated 22 November 2025, listed 119 posts: 45 unreserved, 32 OBC, 19 SC, 10 ST and 13 EWS, with some posts inside these counts kept for candidates with disabilities. The computer-based exam for this round was held on 29 March 2026, and shortlisted candidates were called for document verification and a medical examination from 31 August 2026.
Eligibility
Age limit
General category: Up to 30 years, counted on Closing date of the online application (1 January 2026 for Advertisement No. 04).
Age relaxation
- The upper age limit is relaxable under Central Government orders issued from time to time.
- People working on daily wages, ad-hoc, contract or work-charge basis in UT departments, or in autonomous bodies largely funded by the UT Administration, get relaxation under the UT Administration's guidelines.
Qualification

Other conditions
- The advertisement sets no residence condition. SC, ST and OBC reservation for these Group B posts is applied on an all-India basis.
- Application fee is Rs 200. SC, ST, persons with disabilities and women pay no fee; ex-servicemen pay Rs 100.
- Disability reservation covers only these locomotor categories at 40% or more: one leg affected (OL), one arm affected (OA, if you can write with the other arm), muscular weakness (MW) and one leg and one arm affected (OLA).
- Apply only once. More than one application for the same post can lead to cancellation.

What they ask
The PST paper has 100 multiple-choice questions in English, each worth 1 mark, and a wrong answer costs a quarter mark. The syllabus the SSB signed on 21 November 2025 names six areas: English, mathematics, environmental studies, child development and pedagogy, general knowledge and logical reasoning. It also warns that questions from the CBSE curriculum for Classes I to V, or of a miscellaneous nature, can appear. Neither the advertisement nor the syllabus gives a mark split by section, so prepare all six areas evenly.
How to prepare
- Revise the CBSE mathematics and EVS books for Classes I to V. The syllabus says questions can come straight from that curriculum, and topics like measurement, data handling, food, water and the human body sit at that level.
- Reuse your CTET notes for child development and pedagogy, but add inclusive education and children with special needs, which the SSB syllabus names separately.
- Drill the reasoning list one question type at a time: series, coding-decoding, blood relations, calendar and clock, cubes and dice, data sufficiency. Each type has a fixed method you can learn.
- Each wrong answer costs 0.25 marks. In your mock tests, count how many of your guesses turn out right, and in the real paper guess only when you can rule out at least one option.
- For general knowledge and reasoning, do daily topic-wise practice quizzes on the free Improvam app, and read current affairs for the months before the exam.

How to apply
- Read the advertisement and the detailed instructions on the SSB page of ddd.gov.in or on daman.nic.in/ojas.
- Fill the online form through the link given in the advertisement (daman.nic.in/ojas for the 2025 round) within the dates given, and pay the fee if you are not exempt.
- Check every detail before final submission. Once the confirmation number is generated, you cannot correct the form.
- Keep the confirmation number: the application counts only after it is generated.
- Download the e-admit card from the portal and appear at the centre allotted to you; centre changes are not allowed.
