Chhattisgarh government exams

Two bodies run most state recruitment exams in Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) in Nava Raipur holds the State Service Exam and other officer-level exams. The Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board (Karmachari Chayan Mandal), formerly CG Vyapam, holds the written tests for teachers, police constables, nurses, engineers, High Court staff and many department posts. For those tests the hiring department issues its own advertisement with age, qualification and posts, and the board adds an exam instruction sheet (pariksha nirdesh) with the pattern. Many of these posts are open only to local residents of Chhattisgarh, so read the domicile clause first.
