SSC government exams
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), under the Department of Personnel and Training, recruits for Group B and Group C posts in central ministries, departments and offices. It also runs the constable and sub-inspector exams for the Central Armed Police Forces, Assam Rifles and Delhi Police under agreements with the Ministry of Home Affairs and Delhi Police. Every SSC exam starts with a computer based test, and you apply online on ssc.gov.in. Age limits, cut-off dates and vacancies change with each notice, so read the notice for your exam before you apply.
