Arunachal Pradesh government exams
Most Arunachal Pradesh government jobs are filled through two recruiters in Itanagar. The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) runs the Combined Competitive Examination for APCS and APPS officers and post-wise exams for teachers and junior engineers. The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) fills Group C posts through its CGL, CHSL and CSL exams, and in 2026 it also ran a separate drive for police constables, firemen and tiger guards. In the advertisements listed here most vacancies are reserved for Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) candidates, and APPSCCE-2026 is open only to APST candidates who hold a Permanent Residence Certificate.
