Himachal Pradesh government exams

Most Himachal Pradesh government jobs are filled by two commissions. HPPSC in Shimla runs HPAS, the Civil Judge exam, the forest service exam, the Allied Services exam and, in 2024 and 2026, the police constable recruitment. HPRCA in Hamirpur recruits Group-C staff such as clerks and nurses through its own online portal. Teacher eligibility tests for JBT and TGT posts are held by the H.P. Board of School Education in Dharamshala.
