Sikkim government exams

Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) in Gangtok runs the open recruitment exams for most state government posts, including Under Secretary in the state civil service, police Sub-Inspector, Forest Guard, Jail Warder, Accounts Clerk and Junior Engineer. The posts are for local candidates: SPSC advertisements ask for a Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification and a valid local employment card, and most of them also ask for knowledge of a state language. You apply online only, and since December 2025 SPSC asks every candidate to complete a one-time registration on its upgraded RPA 3.0 portal first.
