SSC has proposed 30 November–31 December 2026 for CHSL 2026 Tier-I. This is an exam window, not your individual appointment. The 1 October schedule notice explicitly labels the dates proposed; check subsequent SSC notices and your own admission certificate before making final arrangements.
Checked on 2 November 2026: we have verified the schedule and the download rules below. We have not verified that CHSL 2026 Tier-I admission certificates are available to candidates today. A search result saying “out” is not confirmation for your cycle or exam date.
City information and the admit card do different jobs
The CHSL 2026 notice, section 14, describes two timings: examination information is uploaded about ten days before the exam; admission certificates become downloadable two to three days before it. Use the city information for planning. Carry the printed admission certificate for entry.
Do not turn those relative timings into one guaranteed release date for everyone. A candidate assigned a later day in the window may need to check again later. Nor should you assume an old CHSL slot-selection announcement applies to this recruitment.
Keep three separate notes on your phone or study planner:

For example, seeing only a city name is not enough to choose the correct building or entrance. Once the certificate appears, compare the complete address with your travel plan. Leave time for finding the venue rather than relying on a map pin with a similar name.
Download through SSC
- Start at the official SSC website. Open the CHSL notice or candidate-login route provided there.
- Check the examination year and tier before entering account details. A Tier-II notice for an older recruitment may also appear in searches made during 2026.
- Follow the current download instructions. Save the certificate and print a copy with the photograph, identity details and instructions readable.
- Inspect your details and assigned venue immediately. If something is wrong, use the relevant SSC regional contact rather than editing the certificate yourself.

Read the document rules for your authentication status
Section 14 requires candidates who could not complete Aadhaar-based authentication to arrive two hours before the examination and bring two recent colour photographs plus an original permitted photo ID. Its date of birth must match the certificate; where the ID lacks a date of birth, the notice specifies additional original evidence. Aadhaar-authenticated candidates have exemptions described in the notice. Follow your certificate and the conditions that apply to you, rather than a universal social-media checklist.
Scribe users should also check the relevant declaration and supporting-document requirements in the notice. The admission certificate can specify additional documents. Official notice, sections 7 and 14.
Pack after reading those instructions, not from memory. Put the printed certificate and applicable documents together the evening before. Check that you have packed the original where an original is required; a photograph of it on your phone is a different thing.
What if your details do not appear?
The notice says to contact the relevant regional office if details are missing one week before the examination, with proof of application. Use SSC's current regional contacts and keep the response. Official notice, section 14.
Save a brief private record of the problem: when you checked, which stage you selected and the error displayed. Remove passwords and OTPs from any screenshot before seeking support. Repeatedly opening unrelated “direct download” pages will not resolve an account issue.
