SSC JE city intimation slip and admit card: what to check

Find the SSC JE city notice and official login, distinguish a city slip from an admission certificate, and check your exam-day documents.

For SSC JE city information and the admission certificate, start at ssc.gov.in and use the official candidate login. A city intimation tells you where to plan your journey. You still need the admission certificate and documents required by your examination instructions.

Checked on 24 October 2026: SSC's notice board lists a notice dated 23 October about city information and admission certificates for JE Examination 2026, Paper I. Read that notice and your own account for availability. The listing alone does not establish that every candidate can download an admission certificate today.

Match the year and paper before downloading

Write down the exam name, cycle and paper from your application. SSC JE Paper I and Paper II are separate stages. Old notices can remain visible in search results long after their download window closes.

There is a useful historical example: SSC's JE 2024 Paper II city notice directed candidates to the login module and gave a separate tentative admission-certificate date. That notice explains why the two documents should be checked separately. Its 2024 date does not apply to a 2026 attempt.

Check city information, then the admission certificate

  1. Open the JE city/admission notice on SSC's notice board and read any later correction.
  2. Go to the SSC login yourself. Keep your registration details private.
  3. Select the matching JE cycle and paper, then check the information available for your application.
  4. Save the admission certificate when it becomes available. Open the saved file to check that all pages downloaded.
  5. Read the instructions attached to that certificate before printing or travelling.

If login itself fails, follow the SSC password and application checks. If login works but the certificate is missing, first check the release notice and the paper selected. Those are different problems.

What to read on the certificate

Check your name and identifying details against your application. Then read the examination date, shift, reporting time, gate-closing time and complete centre address wherever they are specified. The exam starting time is not a substitute for the reporting time.

Plan the route using the exact address. Two centres can have similar names, and knowing the city is not enough to choose the right building. Leave time for the last part of the journey, particularly if your train or bus arrives at a distant terminal.

Make a small checklist from the certificate itself: printed pages, accepted original identity document, photographs if requested, and any candidate-specific documentation. Do not use a generic list from a previous year to decide what will be accepted at the gate.

If a detail is wrong or the link fails

For a name, photograph or other identifying mismatch, compare the certificate with your submitted form and contact the official help route stated in the notice. Do not edit the downloaded document yourself.

For a download failure, check whether the official notice gives a candidate-specific release window. Retry from the official page and save the error if it persists. An inaccessible page does not prove that your application was rejected.

Do not pay an intermediary who promises to release a blocked admit card. Only the recruiting authority can resolve an application or admission issue.

Keep the final preparation focused

Use the SSC JE exam page to locate the recruitment sources. The JE study-plan guide can help organise revision; follow the scheme in your own year's notification for paper content.

The 2026 SSC JE notification is the starting document. Later official scheduling and admission notices take precedence over its tentative calendar.
