IBPS RRB 2026 call letter: download checks and documents to keep for Mains

Find the correct IBPS RRB XV call-letter route, avoid mixing recruitment cycles, and keep the stamped Prelims documents needed for the Main examination.

Before downloading an IBPS RRB call letter, check three things: CRP RRBs XV, your post, and the examination stage. For this recruitment, RRB means Regional Rural Bank. Railway Recruitment Board admit cards belong to a different process.

Checked on 2 November 2026: the official RRBs-XV notification is available and provides the rules below. We could not verify a live XV call-letter release for this guide. Use the IBPS website for current availability; this page does not claim a download has opened.

Find the right recruitment before logging in

Search results can mix Office Assistant, Officer Scale I, older RRB cycles and the separate IBPS customer-service recruitment. A prominent “admit card out” heading is not enough to identify your examination.

Open IBPS yourself, select the Regional Rural Banks recruitment area and match the cycle with your saved application. Then check the post and stage named on the call-letter link. “RRB Clerk” is commonly used for Office Assistant (Multipurpose), while “RRB PO” commonly means Officer Scale I. Use the official post name when checking a notice.

The RRBs-XV notification, section Q says candidates download call letters using their registration number and password or date of birth. The letter gives the centre, venue, date and time; a paper copy is not sent by post.

Keep your credentials private. Improvam links to the issuing authority and does not offer a candidate-login form. If you lose access, use the recovery or help options on the official login page you reached from IBPS.

Read the letter and information handout together

After downloading, check the entire document before printing. Do not stop after finding the exam date. Read the reporting instructions, identity requirements and photograph directions as one checklist.

Your preparation stepWhat to check
Save the documentCorrect cycle, post and stage; a file you can find again
Check the appointmentFull venue address, assigned date and reporting time
Prepare the printoutAll required pages and readable details
Pack documentsOriginals, copies and photographs specified in the letter and handout
Plan the journeyTravel time to the actual venue, including a buffer for delays

Name the saved file with its stage, such as “RRBs-XV-Office-Assistant-Prelims”. This is especially useful if you have applied for several banking examinations. An old file in your downloads folder can look convincing until you inspect the heading.

For Prelims, section Q requires a photograph pasted on the call letter and one additional matching photograph. Scribe users have separate declaration and supporting-document requirements. Check the current letter and handout for your full list. Official RRBs-XV notification.

Keep the stamped Prelims documents after the test

This is the part worth planning before exam day. IBPS says centre staff authenticate or stamp the Prelims call letter and ID-proof copy, which candidates must retain. For Mains, candidates must bring those authenticated Prelims documents along with the Main call letter and other required documents. The notification says candidates without the required stamped Prelims documents will not be allowed to take Mains. Section Q, pages 42–43.

Prepare an envelope labelled with the recruitment and post. After the examination, put the retained documents there before clearing your study desk. A private scan can help you locate information later, but do not assume it replaces the authenticated documents.

If a required stamp or document is missing, raise the issue with the examination staff while you are still at the venue. For a later problem, contact IBPS through its official support route. Do not add a stamp yourself or assume a fresh unverified printout will be accepted.

Use schedules to plan, then follow your appointment

The 2026–27 IBPS calendar is tentative. The later XV notification gives broad November/December windows for Prelims and call-letter downloads. Neither is proof that your letter is available today. Check subsequent notices and use the date assigned to you when released.

For preparation, start with the IBPS RRB overview, then choose the Office Assistant stages or Officer Scale I Mains and interview guide. The banking hub collects the wider study resources. Keep document checks and study targets separate so that waiting for a download does not stop revision.
